Credible-Believable
Great authors make characters with believable personalities. They show personalities through these:
1. Dialogue (Direct Speech)
2. Actions
3. Reactions
4. Physical Descriptions
5. Thoughts
These 5 things are factors that great authors use to make a credible and believable character personality. In the story Wringer by Jerry Spinell, a character named Beans has an obnoxious, loud and rude personality. It is shown when Beans scoops icing off of the birthday boys cake and dramatically licks it off of his own fingers. He also blows out the candles on his cake after the Happy Birthday song. My last observation from inside the text is that instead of asking for something he demands and bellows. The author has mostly used the first two factors really well to make Beans a credible and believable personality.
Probability
In maths, we are learning to calculate probability. Probability is the chances of an event happening. This is a series of slide activities I have done on probability. Enjoy!

My Character Inference
In literacy, we are learning how to make character inferences within stories. We are also studying a book called 'Wringer' and that is where I got my two characters. This is the Google drawing I made on it. Enjoy!

Letter Tile Probability Activity
In maths, we have been learning about probability. Probability is the likelihood of something. Like, it is certain that you will breathe in the next minute but, it is impossible that there will be visiting hours in heaven. That is probability. The certainty, impossibility and the in-between. This is an activity I have done on it and it helps us express probability in the form of a fraction. Enjoy!
